In the run up to the 2014 New Zealand Election I have been dismayed by the mud slinging matches it has devolved to and hyperbole over random policies certain parties have. This has forced me to look into each parties policies closely and hopefully help me pick the least horrible political party based purely on what they have to offer. Unfortunately I cannot run the numbers to see if anyone is going to blow budgets so I will just use a gut feel if I think a policy will be too expensive.
The main parties I will look at are Greens, National, Labour, NZ First, Act, Maori, United Future and Internet/Mana.
